Agents can pass for ordinary visitors, so a shop often has no way to know if a real person is behind one.

Courier gives each agent an ID, and PayPal vouches for the real person behind it, so a shop can trust who it’s selling to without ever learning your name.
It starts in your agent session.

It can buy at any shop that supports Courier.
The same ID works at every one of them, so your courier never starts over at the door.
The shop gets a real order, and never your name.
Each order comes with proof from PayPal that a real person is behind it, so the numbers finally mean something.
Then you just talk to it.
Change your mind, add something for a friend, and keep going. Your courier follows along like anyone you’d send out, and it stops to ask when something goes past what you allowed.
